Messe Düsseldorf is a leading international trade fair partner and provider of event-related exhibitor and visitor services. Founded in 1947, Messe Düsseldorf currently has a workforce of over 1,400 worldwide. The roughly 252,000 square metres of gross exhibition space, spread across 17 halls, served as a platform for some 26,300 exhibitors to present their products and services to more than 1.3 million visitors. Of the roughly 40 events staged in Düsseldorf, more than 20 are ranked as the global No. 1 fairs for their industries. The international network behind the Messe Düsseldorf Group of companies comprises 65 foreign representative offices catering to more than 105 countries as well as 13 direct shareholdings and subsidiaries. EXPOPHARM – The Visitor Magnet

The EXPOPHARM is the most important highlight of the year for visitors and exhibitors alike. In addition to pharmaceutical products - especially for self-medication - visitors from both home and abroad will be focusing on pharmaceutical services, cosmetics, homoeopathy and also paediatrics and nutritional supplements. It attracts a large number of attendees from different countries.

With its over 50-year-old tradition the EXPOPHARM has become established as the major pharmaceutical trade fair. First organised in 1949 by the Pharmacists' Association of Hamburg and entitled "Pharmaceutical Exhibition", with time this highlight event of the sector became Europe's most important indicator of the situation in the pharmacist and pharmaceutical industries.

Last year the show was held for the twelfth time in Munich. The Bavarian capital is therefore the most frequent host to the EXPOPHARM show. The fair has been staged in Düsseldorf nine times and in Hamburg and Cologne three times each.

EXPOPHARM 2007

Around 400 exhibitors from Germany and a number of other countries will be presenting their products and services from 27 to 30 September 2007 at the EXPOPHARM. The event is expecting more than 20,000 visitors from across the globe. It will be held at Düsseldorf.
