AbbVie has partnered with Valkai to expand the use of AI across selected areas of clinical development. 

The collaboration aims to improve research efficiency, generate insights more quickly and support efforts to reduce medicine development timelines.

The partnership forms part of AbbVie’s wider investment in AI and its use across research and development (R&D), operations and other areas of the business. The company is using AI to support scientific research, improve decision-making and strengthen how medicines are discovered, developed and delivered to patients.

Through the collaboration, AbbVie will use AI capabilities developed for life sciences applications to support targeted areas of clinical research. These tools are expected to help teams work with growing volumes of clinical data, reduce time spent on manual tasks and identify useful insights more efficiently.
