Evotec has entered into a strategic research and development collaboration with Odyssey Therapeutics to discover new small molecule treatments for autoimmune and inflammatory diseases.

Under the agreement, Odyssey will use Evotec's integrated data-driven drug discovery platform, advanced screening technologies and AI-enabled data science capabilities to identify and validate potential drug candidates across several high-value disease targets. The collaboration will combine high-throughput experimentation with machine learning-based analysis to speed up the identification of validated hit series and support the rapid advancement of promising therapeutic programmes.

The partnership brings together Odyssey's expertise in autoimmune and inflammatory disease biology with Evotec's drug discovery infrastructure and proprietary compound libraries. By combining their scientific and technological capabilities, the companies aim to accelerate early-stage research and improve the development of new treatment options.

As part of the agreement, Evotec will be eligible to receive milestone payments based on the successful delivery of validated hit series for each target. The financial terms of the collaboration have not been disclosed.

The partnership supports Evotec's strategy of using integrated discovery technologies and artificial intelligence to improve drug discovery for complex diseases where new treatment approaches are needed.
