Halozyme Expands argenx Collaboration to Include Two Additional Development Targets

7 October 2026

Halozyme Therapeutics has expanded its global collaboration and licence agreement with argenx to develop and commercialise subcutaneous formulations for two additional exclusive targets using its ENHANZE® drug delivery technology.

The expanded agreement builds on the companies’ existing collaboration, which includes the development of VYVGART Hytrulo, a subcutaneous formulation of efgartigimod used in the treatment of generalised myasthenia gravis and chronic inflammatory demyelinating polyradiculoneuropathy.

Under the expanded agreement, the companies will work on two additional targets from argenx’s pipeline. The programmes will use ENHANZE technology to support the development of subcutaneous formulations designed to enable the delivery of larger volumes of medicines.

The collaboration forms part of argenx’s broader efforts to expand its immunology pipeline and develop treatment options that can offer greater convenience for patients.

Halozyme is eligible to receive milestone payments based on the progress of the programmes and royalties on net sales of products that use ENHANZE technology.
