Nanoscope Therapeutics Selects InspiroGene by McKesson for Retinal Therapy Distribution
28 May 2026
Nanoscope Therapeutics has selected McKesson’s InspiroGene platform to support the US commercialisation of its lead retinal therapy candidate, MOGENRY™, subject to regulatory approval in the country.
Under the agreement, InspiroGene by McKesson will provide specialty pharmacy, specialty distribution and patient hub services for the anticipated launch of the therapy in the US market.
The collaboration is aimed at supporting commercialisation and supply chain operations as Nanoscope prepares to introduce what it describes as the first optogenetic gene therapy for the US retinal therapy market.
Nanoscope is developing disease-agnostic therapies for patients experiencing photoreceptor loss and vision impairment caused by retinal degeneration. Its clinical programmes focus on retinal degenerative conditions such as retinitis pigmentosa, an area with significant unmet medical need.
The company’s therapy approach is designed to work without the need for a surgical implant or light-intensifying device, which may simplify treatment procedures within specialty care settings.
The agreement will support launch preparation activities, including inventory management, order fulfilment and compliance with regulatory and quality standards.
