This collaboration involves utilizing RevolKa's innovative protein engineering technology platform to develop and supply highly functional proteins.

At the heart of RevolKa's innovation lies its proprietary protein engineering platform called aiProtein®. This technology integrates robust directed protein evolution techniques with artificial intelligence (AI). Through aiProtein®, RevolKa can create and deliver proteins with enhanced functionality in collaboration with Daiichi Sankyo Co., Ltd.

The aiProtein® technology is based on AI-assisted directed evolution of proteins. Proteins, which are natural linear polymers of amino acids, fold into complex tertiary structures through intricate atomic interactions, giving them their biological functions. However, understanding the relationship between protein sequence, structure, and function has historically been challenging. RevolKa's AI engine addresses this challenge by using sequence-function relationship data to statistically predict protein sequences for desired functions. Additionally, aiProtein® has the capability to evolve multiple functions simultaneously, making it a powerful and cost-effective tool for generating novel and optimized proteins for pharmaceutical and industrial applications.
