Remote Sensor Head
Remote Head Non-Directional Air Velocity & Temperature Sensor
F-Series remote head sensors are versatile air velocity and temperature sensors where the sensing element is built remotely from the sensor electronics. Remote head sensors are ideal for use in products where segregation of the sensing element and electronics is desirable. For example, remote head sensors are a good fit for environments involving high EMI sensitivity, or extreme temperature, or systems where the sensing area is too small for typical probe-style sensors. Multiple sensor head styles are available supporting a wide range of application scenarios.
F350, F450, & F550 remote head sensors use dual-sensing elements to measure air velocity and temperature simultaneously. Sensors are non-directional and will sense flow from either direction. Designed with conformal coated electronics and sealed enclosure, remote head sensors are well suited for demanding environmental conditions. Further, remote head sensors are configured to order, to meet the specific needs of your application.
F350/F450/F550 Comparison
Differentiators between F350, F450 & F550 remote head sensors include supply voltage, analog output options, and operating temperature. Nominal inputs are 12VDC for the F350, 24VDC for the F450, and 24VAC/VDC for the F550. In addition to the analog voltage outputs available on F350 & F450 sensors, the F550 has choices for analog current outputs. Similarly, an extended operating temperature range is available with F550 sensors.
