On March 23rd at 3:00 p.m. ROSSINI is hosting its 2nd open webinar.
The European-funded Rossini Project brings together thirteen Europeans Partners with the common goal of improving Human-Robot-Collaboration (HRC) applications in terms of quality of work, reconfiguration time and safety performance. To achieve this goal, the overall Rossini solution was designed as a set of new and potentially interconnected components called the “Rossini Modular KIT.” Leveraging these components, 3 different industrial scenarios were implemented in terms of human-robot collaboration applications.
During the webinar coordinated by CRIT Modena scheduled on 23 March, after a general presentation of the Rossini project, the results of the implementation of the Rossini solution will be shared in 3 specific use cases: a household appliances assembly line (Whirlpool), an electronic components production line (Schindler) and a food packaging application (IMA).
In particular within its own case, thanks to the technology put in place, the Group will share the successes achieved:
the possibility to slow down/stop the robot according to the minimum distance between the robot itself and the operator, guaranteeing the full safety of the latter.
the generation of automatic trajectories to avoid obstacles in the area;
the distribution of specific tasks divided between operator and robot, thanks to a dedicated APP, for a better task management;
