Brazed heat exchangers

Brazed plate heat exchangers, also known as a flatplate heat exchanger are the perfect solution for any demanding requirements. Our brazed plate heat exchangers are compact, leak-tight, and highly efficient, making them a great choice for a wide variety of applications. We are the leading experts in the UK, and our brazed plate heat exchangers are perfect for many demanding requirements.

WCR UK is the leading expert on brazed plate heat exchangers in the UK. We provide high-quality brazed heat exchangers that are compact, leak-tight, and highly efficient.

THE UK'S LEADING EXPERT ON BRAZED PLATE HEAT EXCHANGERS

Brazed plate heat exchangers are an excellent choice for any company looking to upgrade or expand its operations. These compact, efficient heat exchangers are simple to install in tight spaces, and they provide all of the necessary connections to make installation easy. With brazed plate heat exchangers you get maximum efficiency in a small, compact package thats easy to install.

BENEFITS OF BRAZED HEAT EXCHANGERS

  • Leak-tight and compact.
  • High-quality materials on all brazed plate heat exchangers.
  • Versatile in installation.
  • Brazed plate heat exchangers are convenient for many applications.

Brazed plate heat exchangers are compact and efficient solutions designed to transfer heat efficiently.
Just some of the benefits of using brazed plate heat exchangers include;

  • Flexibility to change plate arrangement and to add or remove a plate
  • Higher design pressure and temperatures
  • No mixing of product
  • Compact footprint
  • Easy maintenance and suitable for CIP, plate pack easily accessible
  • Resistance to changes in pressure and temperature
  • High heat transfer coefficients

While plate heat exchangers have several benefits in comparison to other heat exchangers, there are also some drawbacks:

  • Leakage. Plate heat exchangers are made to allow plates and gaskets to be inserted between them. As Gaskets get older, gasket leaks become more likely. This is especially true when compared to shell and tube heat exchangers.
  • Higher pressure drops. Plate heat exchangers are limited because they have small passageways for fluid to flow, resulting in a high heat transfer. A higher pressure drop and a higher pumping cost are the consequence of this than shell and tube heat exchangers.
  • It isnt as beneficial for vast fluid temperature differences. Flat plate heat exchangers perform less effectively than shell and tube exchangers in situations where there is a significant temperature difference between two fluids.
  • It doesnt operate effectively at extremely high fluid temperatures. The gaskets among plate heat exchangers dont work well with very high fluid temperatures.
