Introduction:
Axplora, a prominent partner to pharmaceutical companies and biotechs specializing in complex APIs, is excited to announce an €8 million investment aimed at expanding capacity for manufacturing antibody drug conjugate payloads at its Le Mans facility in France. This expansion is intended to bolster the production of life-changing cancer treatments for patients.
Features:
This investment establishes a state-of-the-art production suite dedicated to antibody drug conjugate payload manufacturing. It empowers innovative pharmaceutical partners to pioneer the next generation of targeted therapies in oncology. The new suite enables production of various payloads at kilogram scale, ensuring robust API supply for our clients. Engineered with advanced process equipment and containment technology, it accommodates a wide range of process conditions, setting new industry standards.
Additionally, this initiative will create at least 15 new positions at the site, supporting this ambitious project aimed at enhancing patient outcomes.
"This expanded capacity reflects our sustainable growth strategy, dedicated to optimizing manufacturing processes and ensuring robust supply chains for our customers," said Rachel De Luca, Site Director at Le Mans. "We take pride in advancing tomorrow’s anticancer treatments and believe this investment will unlock new opportunities to combat cancer with agility and reliability."
"We are grateful for the support of the French government, which accelerates our development and expands our offerings to customers," added Philippe Gaucher, Technical Director. "Being part of France’s National program to foster biopharmaceutical development through 2030 is a testament to our commitment to innovation and patient care."
