Introduction:
Florida-based Romark Laboratories announced plans to bulid the facility in Manati, Puerto Rico with an investment of $110 million.
Features:
This facility will intend to manufacture the FDA-approved diarrhea drug there, as well as an influenza product it has under development that it hopes to launch in 2016. It also focus on research, development and commercialization of molecular therapy to fight cancer and infectious diseases.
The plant is expected to manufacture and package Heartgard and Heartgard Plus products. It is expected to have up to 200 employees when it ramps up over the next three years.
