Contributor Guidelines:

Guidance for contributing original, practical insights on technologies and developments shaping industry.

Our technology platforms serve professionals, engineers, industry leaders, decision-makers, and innovators across multiple sectors. We aim to publish high-quality, original content that delivers practical value, explores emerging developments, and shares informed perspectives on the technologies shaping industries.

Contributors are invited to submit articles that offer fresh insights, address real-world challenges, and explore practical applications of technology. All submissions must meet the editorial standards outlined below.

1. What we’re looking for

We welcome articles that:

  • Are original, unpublished, and free from plagiarism.
  • Explore emerging technologies, industry trends, innovative approaches, or evolving best practices.
  • Offer practical insights, evidence-based analysis, or informed thought leadership relevant to industry professionals.
  • Address current industry challenges, future developments, or real-world technology applications.
  • Provide actionable information, expert perspectives, or meaningful analysis rather than general overviews of familiar topics.
  • Are relevant to the audience and subject focus of the respective website.

Articles must not have been published previously on other websites, blogs, LinkedIn, or other public platforms. Submissions that substantially reproduce existing content will not be accepted.

2. Content Style and Structure

Language: Use British English consistently, including spelling, punctuation, and terminology.

Voice: Use active voice and third-person narration wherever appropriate. First-person statements may be used in attributed expert commentary or direct quotations where they add genuine editorial value.

Tone: Maintain a professional, clear, objective, and informative tone. Avoid exaggerated claims, marketing language, and unsupported statements.

Pronouns: Avoid directly addressing readers or relying on first-person narration unless the format or editorial context justifies it.

Headings: Use a clear, descriptive title followed by relevant subheadings to organize the article logically. Headings should communicate the subject of each section.

Readability: Keep sentences concise and explanations accessible. Define technical terms or provide context, when necessary, without oversimplifying specialist subjects.

Article length: Articles should typically range from 1,000 to 2,000 words. Exceptions may be considered depending on the subject, depth of analysis, and editorial requirements.

Accuracy: Ensure that technical information, statistics, quotations, case studies, and other factual claims are accurate and supported by credible sources where appropriate.

3. Formatting and Supporting Content

To improve readability and communicate complex information effectively:

  • Use bullet points, tables, charts, or numbered steps where they add value.
  • Include relevant examples, practical recommendations, case studies, or expert insights where appropriate.
  • Use images, diagrams, graphs, and infographics to explain concepts or support key points.
  • Provide clear captions, source attributions, and permissions for externally sourced visuals.
  • Include supplementary information, such as key statistics or checklists, where it improves the reader’s understanding.

Formatting should support the article’s substance rather than distract from it.

4. Image Guidelines

Images and other visual assets should meet the following requirements:

  • Submit high-resolution images in JPEG or PNG format, suitable for online publication.
  • Ensure that images, charts, screenshots, and diagrams are clear and readable across desktop and mobile devices.
  • Avoid watermarks, pixelated images, unnecessary decorative graphics, and low-quality visuals.
  • Ensure that all third-party images and other visual assets have the appropriate licences or permissions for publication.
  • Include source details and attribution requirements for externally sourced material.
  • Provide captions and explanatory notes where necessary.

Authors should identify any image or graphic that requires specific attribution or has restrictions on its use.

5. What We Do Not Accept

Submissions may be declined if they contain:

  • Previously published content, including substantially modified versions of existing articles.
  • Promotional or advertorial material primarily intended to market a company, product, or service.
  • Unsupported claims, misleading statistics, or unsubstantiated assertions of industry leadership or innovation.
  • Overly basic introductions to widely understood topics without a distinctive perspective or meaningful analysis.
  • Excessive citations, textbook-style explanations, or unnecessary technical jargon that detracts from readability.
  • Copyrighted text, images, charts, or other materials used without appropriate permission.

Genuine technological innovations, significant product developments, and industry-firsts may be considered when they offer meaningful value to readers and are supported by verifiable information. Acceptance remains subject to editorial review.

6. Submission and Editorial Process

All submissions undergo editorial review to assess originality, accuracy, relevance, structure, readability, and alignment with the website’s audience.

The editorial team may suggest revisions to improve clarity, organization, readability, and search engine optimization (SEO). Articles may be edited for length, style, accuracy, and consistency while preserving the intended meaning.

Submission does not guarantee acceptance or publication. The editorial team reserves the right to decline articles that do not meet its standards.

Published articles may be promoted through the relevant website’s email newsletters and social media channels, with appropriate author attribution. Contributors will be notified once their article is published and provided with a link to the live page.

7. Rights and Acknowledgements

By submitting an article, authors confirm that the content is original, unpublished, and does not infringe the rights of any third party.

Authors grant the publisher the right to edit, publish, distribute, and promote accepted articles exclusively across its own digital platforms, including its websites, email newsletters, and official social media channels, with appropriate author attribution.

Authors must provide source references and obtain the necessary permissions for any third-party data, quotations, charts, images, or other materials included in their submissions.

Accepted articles must not be republished, reproduced, or distributed by the author on other websites, blogs, LinkedIn, or other external platforms without prior written permission from the publisher.

The publisher reserves the right to decline submissions that do not meet its editorial, legal, or quality standards.
