Dassault Systèmes to Acquire ArisGlobal to Strengthen AI Platform for Life Sciences
23 July 2026
Dassault Systèmes has signed a definitive agreement to acquire ArisGlobal in a deal valued at approximately US$1.8 billion in cash, with up to an additional US$200 million linked to multi-year AI-related revenue milestones.
The transaction has been unanimously approved by the company's Board of Directors and is expected to close in the second half of 2026, subject to regulatory approvals and customary closing conditions.
ArisGlobal provides AI-driven compliance solutions to more than 200 customers, including half of the world's top 50 biopharmaceutical companies, as well as biotechnology firms, medical technology companies, contract research organisations (CROs) and global health authorities. Its platform supports critical regulated operations and processes more than 12 million patient safety reports each year. The company employs over 1,300 people worldwide and is expected to generate revenue of around US$175 million in 2026.
The acquisition will strengthen Dassault Systèmes' position in the life sciences sector by combining its expertise in drug discovery, clinical trials, manufacturing and quality with ArisGlobal's capabilities in regulatory compliance and real-world evidence management. The combined platform is intended to connect data across the full therapy lifecycle, helping organisations improve decision-making, accelerate innovation, enhance operational efficiency and support the development of safer treatments.
ArisGlobal's NavaX AI platform is designed to deploy clinical-grade artificial intelligence in highly regulated environments. The platform enables organisations to automate complex workflows, improve data quality, strengthen regulatory compliance and generate actionable insights. It has demonstrated productivity improvements of more than 30 per cent across regulated operations.
The company operates in a compliance software market that is expected to grow at a double-digit rate and reach approximately US$7.5 billion by 2030, with increasing demand for AI-enabled software solutions across the life sciences industry.
Dassault Systèmes expects the acquisition to deliver revenue synergies and contribute positively to both revenue growth and earnings per share during the first year after completion. The transaction will be fully financed using the company's existing cash reserves, allowing it to maintain financial flexibility.
