Brenus Pharma presents promising preclinical results that extrapolate to human diseases at important international conferences

These communications focus on the preclinical validation of new developments of the STC platform's first product, STC-1010, targeting first-line colorectal cancer.

Benoit PINTEUR, (Pharm.D), Co-Founder and Chief Scientific Officer at Brenus Pharma explains: “After we tested the STC product on colorectal cancer models in syngeneic immunocompetent mice (in vivo), where the results showed improved overall survival and enhanced demonstrated immune response with STC-1010, we tested new models (ex vivo, in ovo) to improve extrapolation to humans, validate the biological mechanism of action of STC-1010, and replicate the excellent results in human colorectal cancer models. All our efforts are now focused on regulatory approvals and batch production for the clinical trial in 2024.”

About the STC Platform : “Stimulated-Tumor-Cells” is the first technology platform to generate cancer vaccines based on cells that are stimulated to reproduce antigenic signatures of recurrent tumors and that are haptenized to stimulate the immune system against resistant tumors to train. It breaks current limitations by efficiently treating solid tumors while ensuring cost and supply control.
