Horus Pharma, an independent French laboratory specializing in ophthalmology, has taken a major step in its European expansion strategy with the opening of its new subsidiary. From its base in Stockholm, Horus Pharma Nordic will cover Sweden, Norway, Finland and Denmark, which together have 30 almost million inhabitants.

Horus Pharma develops, patents and markets products and solutions for the treatment of eyes and eyelids without preservatives. The group focuses on using its medical and scientific know-how to offer doctors innovative treatment solutions that have patient safety as a top priority. Horus Pharma is headquartered in Nice, France and is now also established in Spain, Benelux and Switzerland. The new Nordic subsidiary is the next step forward.

During the coming year, Horus Pharma's complete product range, which includes medical equipment for the treatment of glaucoma, allergy, inflammation, dry eye and surgical and perisurgical solutions as well as cosmetic products for the care of the eyelids, will gradually become available on the Nordic market.
