E&B are the UK and Ireland’s sales agents for VMS-Maschinenbau GmbH, a German manufacturer who has been at the forefront of aseptic filling and sealing machines since 1994. They build product-flexible, machinery for a variety of containers, which are characterised by high product and process reliability in the filling process.
They specialise in filling cups, bottles and containers under their brand #KONTIFILL and they have customers all over the world. Their machines can be used for various filling products including dairy, jams, juices, mayonnaise, mustard and ketchup. The range has 3 main products:
CUPLine – this machine provides customers with the highest level of hygiene standards up to log6 level. These seal-less piston fillers guarantee high filling accuracies for many years. Filling systems are Cleaning-in-Place (CIP) and Sterilizing-in-Place (SIP). The CUPline is a continuous motion, high performance (even with low viscosity products) fully servo driven filling system. In terms of product safety and hygiene the unit is fully enclosed in a “tunnel” where sterile air is fed selectively and air exchange between the outside environment and the enclosed sterile tunnel or room is significantly minimized and nearly eliminated.
BOTTLELine – this model provides customers with the highest level of hygiene standards up to log6 level. Our seal-less piston fillers guarantee high filling accuracies for many years. Filling systems are Cleaning-in-Place (CIP) and Sterilizing-in-Place (SIP). The BOTTLELine is a continuous motion, high performance (even with low viscosity products) fully servo driven filling system. In terms of product safety and hygiene the unit is fully enclosed in a “tunnel” where sterile air is fed selectively and air exchange between the outside environment and the enclosed sterile tunnel or room is significantly minimized and nearly eliminated.
BUCKETLine – The high performance VMS servo-driven seal-less CIP/SIP piston fillers provide consistently high filling accuracy over the 1-12 kg range while allowing simple and flexible format changes. The GGF series (large pail or tub filling system) achieves log6 without any problem. A bulkhead seals the tunnel during cleaning during extended machine stop and it meets or exceeds required MAC values without any problem. Also in the GGF series, the proven mezzanine structure allows easy service access for technicians and operators. The entrance and exit areas of the sterile tunnel have exhaust systems to avoid air exchange with surrounding area. All product contact areas are sterilized with saturated steam at 143°C. The sterile tunnel is cleaned with hydrogen peroxide. Further disinfection of packaging materials is also carried out with H2O2.
