We offer compliant, high quality inserts for the meat industry. Our inserts can be safely placed directly onto meat with high quality branding and exceptional quality direct thermal images.

Compliance

We have undergone a rigorous, independent testing process to ensure our inserts are safe for contact with meat products. Our inserts are compliant for food contact with the following regulations:

  • EU No. 10/2011 and 1935/2004/EC
  • US FDA
  • Australian Standards for the manufacture of pressure-sensitive labels, inserts and tags
  • HACCP Food Safety Management System
  • ISO 9001 Quality Management System

In addition our inserts are free from Bisphenol A (BPA) and Bisphenol S (BPS), and are free from heavy metals, phthalates and other substances of very high concern (SVHC).

SafeSeal™ coating

SafeSeal™ refers to the coating or varnish we use to protect the premium grade thermal material that our inserts are manufactured from. This coating is critical to the food contact compliance of our inserts and ensures superior product performance throughout the challenging meat supply chain environment. 

Superior performance

Our inserts are durable, with resistance to water, plasticiser, oil, and alkaline. They also have high temperature resistance, and are easy on print heads by imaging at low energy. The thermal image quality is dense, crisp, and resistant to fading. This allows for clean reproduction of small English and foreign languages.

Premium print quality

We understand the importance of your brand, particularly for export markets. Our specialised water based ink printing presses can print your inserts in up to 7 colours to ensure your product stands out in the market.
