• Activated carbon filters are single-stage or multi-stage filtering units containing a layer of activated carbon in granules, crossed by the gaseous flow with the presence of volatile organic compounds (VOCs).
• The composition and concentration of the pollutant, together with the contact time and the crossing speed , are the basic design parameters necessary to define the dimensional characteristics and the quantity of project activated carbon.
• It should be noted that the saturated activated carbon can be regenerated and reused.
• As far as the filter body is concerned, it can be made in various materials (Fe, Corten, AISI and possibly with additional antacid coatings) according to needs.
