Agitated Nutsche filters (ANF) are typically supplied with Glass-Lined wetted components given the equipment is used to mix, reactor and dry a variety of agressive chemical compounds.

This filtration technique is used widely in Pharmaceutical production as well as in applications such as dye, paint and waste water treatment.

The equipment was designed primarily due to safety and environmental concerns of solvent evaporation in more traditional processes.

Typically, filtration occurs in a process cycle covering a range of pressures (including vacuum pressure) and range of temperatures carried out in a closed vessel.
