Introduction:

SCA Pharma announced its plans to expand operations with the construction of a new production facility in Little Rock, with an investment of over US$10 million, which includes renovation of the existing facility and building a new facility.

Features:

The project will include the renovation of existing 42,000-square-foot facility at the Clinton National Airport and the construction of an additional 20,000-square-foot facility adjacent to the existing building.

The new facility will create opportunities to double its current workforce of 180 people and will also create the demand for technical and highly skilled jobs at both the facilities.

SCA Pharma will add state-of-the-art automation, compounding capability, and technical employees to manufacture critical medicines.

The new facility enables SCA Pharma to provide clinical support for doctors and patients, while making products even more accessible to hospitals.
