Introduction:

Upperton Pharma Solutions plans to start the construction of new GMP manufacturing facility in Nottingham, UK.

Features:

The new state-of-the-art manufacturing and development facility covers an area of 50,000 square foot facility.

The newly constructed site will significantly increase the current capabilities in terms of capacity and production volume by increasing its size to ten new GMP manufacturing facilities, quality control laboratories and includes a dedicated analytical and formulation development laboratories consisting of pilot plants.

The Trent Gateway site consists the capability to handle a range of dosage forms including solids, liquids, semi-solids, nasal and inhaled products, and allows it to support early formulation development, by providing clinical trial supplies from Phase 1 to Phase 3 and niche-scale commercial manufacture.

The new facility is expected to be fully opearational by the end of 2024 and create 150 additional full-time jobs.
