AboutAceto

Over the last 70 years, Aceto has established itself as a leading value-added global chemical supplier specializing in specialty chemicals, nutritional ingredients, and products used across the Pharmaceutical value chain including reagents and process aids, intermediates, API’s, and excipients.

Aceto’s operations span ten countries including the US, Canada, China, India, France, Germany, Netherlands, and Singapore. Our global network and staff specialize in 6 core competencies: R&D, Production, Quality Assurance, Supply Chain, Global Sourcing, and Regulatory Compliance.  This set of competencies enable agility and choice for our customers, so that they can more rapidly develop and commercialize their innovative products and supply them dependably to their customers.

In the last 18 months Aceto has acquired 6 companies with strong R&D and manufacturing capabilities, which has allowed us to achieve a hybrid manufacturing/distribution model. This provides key benefits to our customers in high-growth end markets including pharmaceuticals, biopharmaceuticals, vaccines, nutritionals, agriculture, cosmetics and specialty chemicals. The acquired companies include A&C, A&C Bio Buffer, Cascade Chemistry, Finar, Islechem and Syntor Fine Chemicals.

What we do

Aceto offers an impressive portfolio of over 3,000 standard chemical compounds suited for commercial use.  We deliver customers the greatest value, however, developing new solutions.  Through our network of five manufacturing facilities based on three continents, 50 R&D professionals, and 60 sourcing professionals based predominantly in India and China, we work with our clients to offer choice – geography, quality systems, manufactured vs sourced, cost - that works for their applications.

R&D and Manufacturing

Aceto offers customers a strong manufacturing base, to complement years of sourcing experience, and to bring customers more complete solutions.  Our facilities, based in the US, Canada, UK, Ireland and India operate to both GMP and non-GMP quality standards, are largely CDMO’s, and backed by a globally aligned R&D organization.   All facilities work closely with customers to develop advanced intermediates, API’s, and excipients, as well as niche specialty chemicals.
