Tactile danger labels

The European standard EN 272 is aimed at producers of easily or extremely flammable, toxic, irritating, noxious and corrosive substances, requiring that the relative packages be equipped with a specific tactile danger symbol. This is to make it possible for the visually impaired to recognize these substances.
Arca Etichette offers a practical and effective solution to comply with the legislation in an adequate and effective way: a self-adhesive label bearing an EQUILATERAL RELIEF TRIANGLE, to be applied on the primary packaging of the products affected by the legislation. The triangle, according to the standard, can be reproduced in two different versions: with a side of 18 mm., Or with a side of only 9 mm. The application of one rather than the other is at the complete discretion of the manufacturer, while it is  important to underline that the relief must necessarily have a thickness between 0.25 and 0.5 mm.

As for the vertical cylindrical packages (cans, spray cans, bottles,) the upper vertex of the triangle must be positioned within 50 mm from the base. On the other hand, on horizontal packages, such as boxes, the triangle must be as close as possible to the opening system.
