Cartridge Filter

Construction and operation of Cartridge Filter is similar to pulse jet bag filters, except the fact that cartridge filters are used instead of bags resulting in compact design, energy efficient, quick filter changes and ease of maintenance. Further, easy access to filter cartridges is provided via side doors.

ADVANTAGES

• Surface filtration does not allow the micron particle to penetrate.
• Surface area of the cartridge is 4 times more.
• Length is maximum 0.5 to 2 mts.
• Cages are inbuilt within the cartridge.
• Dust cake release is very easy due to surface media filtration and no penetration of micron particle in between the filter media.
• Compressed air consumption for cleaning.
• Low pressure drop due to surface filtration.
• Washable in PTFE coating.
• Less number of solenoid valves are required.
• Low space consumption.
• Low construction and installation cost.
