As the world’s leading peptide manufacturer, we are currently involved in about 150 Chemistry, Manufacturing and Control (CMC) development projects targeting New Chemical Entities (NCEs) with a large number of customers in the pharmaceutical and biotech industry around the globe.
A new service in our portfolio is the development and manufacturing of oligonucleotide-based APIs. The technology is applicable to large scale production and has strong synergies with peptides.
WHAT BACHEM OFFERS
For NCEs, Bachem forms dedicated project teams to ensure timely coordination and containment of sensitive information. The teams are lead by an experienced project manager to coordinate and control the project activities and with team members out of research and development, quality control, quality assurance, regulatory affairs and sales to represent their department within the project. A business development manager is part of the team and addresses your special needs and requirements.
Bachem actively supports the lifecycle of commercial products in close collaboration with our partners. We help to implement cutting edge technology from our continuous improvement and innovation efforts to guarantee that we maintain the highest quality standards and a competitive edge that help our partners to maintain leading market shares far beyond the exclusivity period.
Throughout the world, about 80 peptide APIs are used in commercial drugs for the treatment of diverse diseases. With confidentiality agreements in place, we are only at liberty to say that Bachem manufactures almost one third of those peptide APIs. Therefore, Bachem holds the largest proportion of commercially available peptide APIs.
