The microbiological safety cabinets are designed and manufactured to meet the requirements of the European standard EN 12469:2000. The SafeFAST Elite Class III are fully enclosed safety cabinets designed for product, personnel and environmental protection. As such, they are specifically used when handling hazardous substances that can be potentially dangerous to humans or animals.

Both the transfer flap and the working chamber operate in negative pressure mode, with the exhausted air vented through a system of double H 14 HEPA filters. The working chamber has an ISO 3 class laminar flow, which prevents cross-contamination of the product.
