The 360a Label Applicator is extremely versatile. There are many configurations that the label applicator can be set up for to allow for many different label applications. Regardless of the surface or size, the 360a is capable.
Each 360a Label Applicator is configurable to one of three application methods: blow-on, tamp-blow and merge. Determining which one you use will depend on the product surface, location of the label and label materials you plan on using.
The CTM 360a Series Label Applicator allows for a variety of label sizes as well, with a width that adjusts to 5 inches, 7.5 inches, or 10 inches.
State-Of-The-Art Technology
The 360a Series Label Applicator comes equipped with industry-leading technology that is designed to help improve workloads. Each 360a applicator is created with a stepper drive. The stepper drive inside uses a micro pulse driver to facilitate increased accuracy and performance. The stepper drive is also programmable, allowing you to dispense labels at up to 3000 inches per minute.
Another crucial feature of the 360a is the combined power supply, amplifier and position controller to comprise a single drive package.
The new single axis digital stepper / servo controller controls up to five tasks simultaneously plus management of variables with expanded I/O making this drive well-suited for the most demanding production applications. The 360a controller is also equipped with onboard I/O prewired to external connectors to accommodate the following:low label – single, double or triple lightstack web break – encoder velocity compensation loose loop control – product shape profiling imprinting – zero downtime configuration.
Each machine is shipped preprogrammed and can have the additional hardware installed at a later date for simple “plug n play” operations. The electronic control assembly is packaged as a module and can be easily removed for repair or replacement, eliminating costly downtime and servicing.
Ease-Of-Use
CTM’s 360a Label Applicator comes with a 6-inch, 256 color, TFT touch screen operator. This operator is vital to the applicator, and it provides a self-diagnostic platform and a multi-level set-up. The bright and bold high-contrast display is sure to be visible regardless of the lighting conditions.
Each applicator is able to switched to a left-handed or right-handed with little to no change in parts. It makes them the perfect companion no matter where in your facility the 360a applicator is placed.
