Zapliq® is our new format for fast oral delivery and 100% release of active and functional ingredients. The tablet liquefies when chewed, making a solid oral dosage as easy to swallow as a sip of water. The unique formulation is a valuable alternative to existing delivery systems across a wide range of treatment and prevention areas. It provides excellent taste masking capabilities, with the potential for uptake through the oral mucosa or gastrointestinal tract, depending on the ingredients. The cool, dry manufacturing process also makes it suitable for heat and moisture sensitive ingredients such as vitamins and probiotics.
You can customise your product to meet consumer needs and preferences with different layers, textures, flavours, sizes, load ranges and shapes. Incompatible ingredients can be separated across multiple layers and released at varying rates for both a fast and sustained release of active and functional ingredients. Zapliq® can also be combined with our patented compressed gum and a crunchy flavoured layer to further customise release, mouthfeel, and flavour.
