Vitamin D3 is a real jack of all trades and is involved in numerous metabolic processes in the body. It is best known for its positive influence on the bones and the immune system. However, current studies show that vitamin D3 can only exert its full effect on the bones with the help of vitamin K2. Therefore, the two vitamins should always be taken together. MULTIvitDK®provides you with the strong duo of vitamin D3 and K2 in an oily solution. Palm oil was deliberately avoided in order to improve compatibility and at the same time do something good for the environment. For this reason, high-purity corn oil was used as the carrier oil. The special advantage: The practical dosing pump for easy administration. MULTIvitDK®contains vitamin K2 in the form of menaquinone-7 all-trans (MK-7 all-trans), which is particularly well absorbed and processed by the body. Vitamin D3
The “sunshine vitamin” can be produced by the skin itself with the help of sunlight and can also be absorbed by the human body through food.
In our latitudes, however, there is an increased need for vitamin D3 in the cold season due to weak solar radiation. In order to ensure a sufficient supply of vitamin D3, it is recommended to feed MULTIvitDK, especially from October to March®to complete. MULTIvitDK is all year round®ideally suited for the 50+ generation, who can produce less vitamin D3 through the skin, and as a supplement for anyone whose skin is not sufficiently exposed to direct sunlight.
Vitamin D3 is required for bone metabolism and bone density. It helps maintain healthy bones by supporting the normal absorption and utilization of calcium and phosphorus. The vitamin is also important for maintaining intact muscle function.
Vitamin D3 also plays an important role in immune defense and supports the normal functioning of our immune system.
The Austrian, German and Swiss Nutrition Societies (DA-CH) recommend a daily intake of 800 IU (IE = International Units) or 20 μg of vitamin D3. Already with one pump of MULTIvitDK®reach this crowd.
Vitamin K2also supports the maintenance of normal bones. The vitamin is one of the most important partners of vitamin D3 in terms of bone metabolism, which is why the two vitamins should be taken in combination.
On the one hand, vitamin K can be ingested as vitamin K1 (phylloquinone) through food, where it is mainly found in the leaves of various green plants. On the other hand, the vitamin in the form of vitamin K2 (menaquinone) is produced by microorganisms in the intestine.
