MULTI-PANEL LABELING WITH A SINGLE LABEL

Gernep manufactures 3, 4, or 5-panel labelers with different labeling technologies depending on the application. Our rotary systems transfer bottles or containers to a rotary turret and are positively handled during label application.

We define multi-panel labeling, also referred to as 3, 4, or 5-panel labeling, as a single label applied to 3 or 4 sides of a square, rectangular or triangular bottle. An excellent example of 3-panel labeling is the Vicks® NyQuil™ bottle. Edible oils commonly use square bottles with 4-panel labeling, also referred to wrap-around. 5-panel labeling may sound strange, but it relates to a label application where both label edges meet halfway in the center of a bottle panel. A typical application is vitamin bottles produced by Jamieson Laboratories.
