When working with any kind of hazardous waste or operating any type of incinerator, you will need to wear personal protective equipment. This will safeguard your health and prevent any accidental injuries.

PPE kits are designed to protector workers when machines are in operation, anyone working in close proximity to an operating machine must be fully protected and use the correct PPE equipment. This equipment may change depending on the exact waste you are handling but as a minimum: gloves, aprons and visors must be worn when operating any of our machines.

Essential PPE for waste handlers and incinerator operators

• Face mask or safety visor – to protect eyes and mouth
• Heavy duty gloves – to protect hands
• Apron or coveralls – to prevent damage to clothing
• Heavy duty boots – to protect feet
