One of our most successful production techniques is our ability to coat adhesives in any pattern in-line, and in register with our printing and die cutting operations. This, combined with our ability to handle multiple webs, allows us to utilize adhesive and substrate combinations that simply are not available anywhere else.
Most converters simply buy pre-coated stocks from outside sources. While we also do this, it very often limits the product possibilities, especially where a product requires dry adhesive areas or areas on a product that require multiple levels of tack. We will often pattern silicone coat along with pattern adhesive coat to allow for certain functional requirements. Many converters will utilize adhesive deadening to achieve patterns. We feel this severely compromises quality. Deadened areas will often become tacky after a short time resulting in product failure.
