PCR Plates

PCR Plates are necessary to perform Polymerase Chain Reactions, an important area of study in laboratories. Marathon PCR strips and tubes are made of the highest-quality polypropylene and all have standardized thin walls that allow for a more efficient heat transfer. Marathon’s individual tubes, strips of tubes, and caps are all compatible with most leading thermal cycler.

Caps, available in both flat and domed variety, create a tight seal that prevents sample evaporation in thermal cyclers. All PCR strips and tubes ae certified RNase, DNase, Pyrogen and DNA Free; and the plastics and colorants are in conformity with CONEG/RoHS standards for heavy metals. The tubes have thin walls to ensure consistent thermal transfer and are autoclavable at +121°C for up to 30 minutes.
