Medikro Pressure Tube

The pressure tube is the pneumatic connection between the SpiroSafe flow transducer and the actual Medikro Spirometry System/ pressure sensor.

By implementing the Medikro Vibration Control Technology, the pressure tube improves and stabilizes the quality of the collected test signal, thereby improving the overall spirometry quality. The pressure tube is also the carrier of the Medikro “Twist-to-Connect” technology, which makes attaching and removing the pressure tube from the spirometer and the SpiroSafe flow transducer from the pressure tube easy and fast, while ensuring a reliable and secure connection.

Sterilization of the pressure tube is not required and not necessary. Generally the pressure tube should be replaced after every 300 patients or at least every three months and/ or whenever its exterior surface becomes visibly unclean.
