ACECARD
Acecard – an antiplatelet drug for prevention of myocardial infraction, insult and thrombosis. Pharmacological properties Acecard effects: • Antiaggregant effect: • inhibition of both isoenzymes of cyclooxygenase (COX-1 and COX-2) in platelets, which blocks the synthesis of thromboxane A2 and suppresses platelet aggregation. • inhibition of biosynthesisantiaggregational (antithrombogenic) prostaglandin-prostacyclin (PGI2) and other antithrombotic prostaglandins (PGE1, PGD2, etc.). • Promotes the release of prostacyclin from the endothelium of blood vessels, and has a depressing effect on the release and activation of platelet factors III and IV.
Indications for use • Prevention of acute myocardial infarction in the presence of risk factors (for example, diabetes mellitus, hyperlipidemia, hypertension, obesity, smoking, elderly age) and repeated myocardial infarction. • Unstable angina. • Prevention of ischemic stroke (including in patients with transient impairment of cerebral circulation). • Preventing thromboembolism after surgery and invasive vascular interventions (eg, coronary artery bypass grafting, carotid endarterectomy, arteriovenous shunting, angioplasty and stenting of the coronary arteries, carotid angioplasty). • Prevention of deep vein thrombosis and thromboembolism of the pulmonary artery and its branches (including, with prolonged immobilization as a result of extensive surgical intervention). There are contraindications, before use, consult with the doctor!
