Calcium stearate is primarily used as an lubricant in the plastics industry and as an anti-caking additive in pharmaceuticals and cosmetics.
Fine, white to yellowish-white, bulky powder having a slight, characteristic odor. Is unctuous, and is free from grittiness
We provide all pharma grades of calcium stearate.
Specific calcium stearate grades, designed with high purity and low filtration index, are especially suited for use as acid scavengers/ lubricants in polyethylene and polypropylene film and fiber applications where very fine extruder screen packs are used.
Calcium stearate acts as photo inducer due to which changes structure of plastic. Calcium stearate is also used as acid sewages, plastic colorant to improve pigment wetting.
