The sole reason to use in-pack indicators, whether it is a class 4, 5 or 6, should be to detect sterilization conditions inside packs, trays or containers. In addition the reason for using the in-pack indicators is that the operating theatre want to have a proof of sterilization inside the packs and containers. STERINTECH In-pack indicators are ISO 11140 compliant and tested by an independent micro-biological laboratory.
