INDICATION

For the prevention of Tuberculosis

ROUTE OF ADMINISTRATION

Intradermal Injection

IMMUNIZATION SCHEDULE

The vaccine should be administered in the dose of:

0.05 ml, Intradermal for Infants under one year of age

0.1 ml, Intradermal for children over one year of age and adult.

COMPOSITION

Live, attenuated BCG Vaccine (Bacillus Calmette-Guerin Strain)

Each 1 ml contains between

2 x 106 and 8 x 106 Colony Forming Units (C.F.U.)

Diluent: Sodium Chloride Injection I.P.
