Signode produce two plastic strapping materials — Contrax® polypropylene and Tenax® polyester — are the basic components of our plastic strapping systems for the securement of a wide range of products, from newspapers, pipes and cotton bales.

Tensioners

Signode India offers a variety of hand tools for tensioning and sealing plastic strap. For some strapping operations, a manual tensioner and separate sealer provide an economical means of applying plastic strapping. Metal seals are used to form the strap joint.

Feedwheel type

A serrated feedwheel grips the strapping and rotates to draw up slack. Fast and easy to position and use. Take-up is unlimited, and strapping may be used directly off the coil.
