Consumer demand for supplements that may help maintain healthy blood glucose is increasing. GlucoHelp is a clinically studied banaba leaf extract standardized to 18% corosolic acid. Banaba leaf is unique in that two of its key bioactive compounds–corosolic acid and ellagitannins–“pinch hit” for insulin. Both constituents direct GLUT4, a glucose transporter protein, to move to the cell membrane and activate it to incorporate glucose into the cell. The net effect is that more glucose enters the cells, reducing the level of sugar in the blood.

Banaba leaf extracts have a proven record of safety, and no adverse effects were observed in either clinical trial performed using GlucoHelp. One of the main active ingredients in banaba leaf, corosolic acid, is lipophilic (fat-loving). Research suggests that an oil-based soft gel delivery optimizes absorption. GlucoHelp is fast-acting and versatile in supporting glycemic levels and may promote weight management.
