Co-Crystal Screening

Co-crystals have gained tremendous attention due to their potential for improving the bioavailability or physicochemical properties of APIs. Solid State Pharma’s co-crystal screening workflow is on the basis of scientific and rational selection of co-formers.

Our approach utilizes the interaction between functional groups of the API and co-formers using a comprehensive database of similar functional groups. When co-crystals are found, they are then characterized. Additionally, Solid State Pharma’s ingenious scientists can construct a ternary phase diagram of the co-crystal with the API in the favored solvent system.
