Para 4 is a hematology control for small laboratories and offices with point-of-care applications that perform a limited number of hematology tests utilizing manual or semi-manual methods. It is a whole blood control that is available in three clinically significant levels.

Product Description

Para 4 is an assayed, whole blood hematology control for evaluating the accuracy and precision of automated, semi-automated and manual procedures that measure blood cell parameters. The control resembles the appearance of patient samples and is available in three clinically significant levels. Its long shelf life reduces the number of shipments, associated costs and time spent performing lot-to-lot correlation. Para 4 is available in glass vials or in squeeze dropper vials for accurate sample dispensing, eliminating the need to pipette.

Para 4 is assayed for HemoCue B-Hemoglobin Photometer and Hb201+ Hemoglobin System, Separation Technology, Inc. HemataSTAT II, Entia Aptus and auxiliary methods that include Spun Hematocrit and Phase Platelets.
