What is private label capsule manufacturing?
Capsules consist of two shells, fitted together with your formulation inside. During the manufacturing process, we dispense a batch of your formulation into one of the shells and seal it using the other. Then we perform quality assurance and testing before packaging, labeling, and shipping your product.

Types of Capsules
Gelatin Capsules use collagen (a soft protein that connects the muscles, tendons, skin, and bones of cows) to protect your formulation. They also add Glycine and Proline (two amino acids) along with protein, providing additional health benefits.
Vegetarian Capsules have a 100% vegetarian shell that works as well as any gelatin-based capsule. These come in two types:
Hypromellose/Hydroxypropyl Methylcellulose (HPMC): The shell contains only water and HPMC) leaving it free of animal by-products, BSE, GMO, and gelatin, gluten, and starches.
Pullulan: produced by the fermentation of sugar and starch by the fungus Aerobasidum pullulans, this water-soluble polysaccharide is similar to the HPMC capsule, except that it is 100% natural.
Colored Capsules accent neutral-colored formulations, using different colors that can trigger a positive emotional response with your product. They also help customers differentiate supplements.
Branded Capsules can distinguish your formulation with your brand beautifully printed on the capsule.
Delayed-Release Capsules protect sensitive formulations from stomach acids for release in the small intestines. This allows for a slow and gentle release. Perfect for any formulation that may upset the stomach, causing unwanted side effects.

Soft gels are coated with beef-based gelatin that allows for easy digestion. This makes soft gels perfect for formulations that require rapid delivery.
Hard shells are formed from two shells with the formulation in the middle. They’re more durable than soft gels and therefore work better with formulations that need an extended-release.
