Continuous Vacuum Conveyors (CC)

Volkmann Continuous Pneumatic Vacuum Conveyors (CC) use a vacuum pump/filter combination to provide non-stop aspiration and material flow, both at material pickup and discharge points. Single pump/filter combinations are switched off sequentially for filter cleaning while the others are running to provide a continuous vacuum flow.

The CC separator is equipped with a Volkmann designed and produced rotary valve (ATEX approved). The transported material can be conveyed, then separated and discharged from the separator/conveyor with almost no delay due to the unique design of the CC Vacuum Conveyor and its airflow. There is limited residual material, and when adhesive material is transported, a pneumatic piston vibrator is used to further reduce material which might accumulate on surfaces inside the separator.

The CC Pneumatic Vacuum Conveyor and all of its parts, including the rotary valve, can be dismantled easily by hand. All parts in contact with product are constructed with hygienic stainless steel 316L or FDA-approved materials and are easy-to-clean.

Separator diameters of CC Vacuum Conveyors: available from 200 up to 350 mm, Rotary valves diameters: 100 or 150 mm.

Pneumatic vacuum conveying rate: 1 – 500 kg/h.
