HYGIENIC FILLING

Disinfection of cups and lids is a prerequisite for long shelf life and high quality of food. Waldner relies on UVC emitters, xenon/UVC flash irradiation and hydrogen peroxide treatment for packaging disinfection. If necessary, these processes are implemented with hygienic filling zones under clean or sterile air and/or a protective gas atmosphere. The right selection and configuration of the filling machine is crucial here, because the various levels of hygiene and sterilization must be clearly defined.
