Introduction:

FUJIFILM Diosynth Biotechnologies (FDB)unveiled its plans for the construction of a new US$19.05m (£14.5m) BioCampus at Billingham, UK.

Features:

The new BioCampus facility will occupy a 42,000square foot designed for office accommodation and visitor centre.In addition, the campus covers additional R&D labs and new manufacturing facilities.

This new accommodation provides good job opportunities for local people and on the other hand allows space for 25o of FDB’s existing staff and adding 50 new positions at the company’s UK location to support its growing portfolio of partner programs. Moreover, the expansionserves group of laboratories offering cell culture and process development firms located nearby Wilton Center.

This research centrewill further improve the quality of work environment driving medical innovation, jobs and attracting further investments.

The project is likely to be completed by the end of March 2021.
