BIOCEL’S FOUNDATION

The company is founded by Dr Karl McCarthy on the 7th July 1966, shortly after he was elected and admitted as a fellow of the Royal Institute of Chemistry on the 20th May 1966.

1971

JAPAN

Dr. McCarthy toured Japan. He visited companies such as The Kirin Beer Company in Takasaki, Gunma, pictured above, to share ideas in brewing methods.

1992

ISO:9000 CERTIFICATION

Biocel Ltd. is certified under the Quality Management Systems certification IS0:9000, The Worlds leading Quality Management standard.

2013

FAMI-QS CERTIFICATION

Biocel Ltd. is certified under the FAMI-QS system, which regulates and controls the hygiene and safety requirements for companies involved with speciality feed ingredients and their mixtures.
