When Alpha Analytical, the 7th largest environmental laboratory in the United States purchased Boston Analytical in 2009, they purchased a small laboratory started by a couple of college roommates over 30 years ago. Originally located in North Reading, Massachusetts that laboratory eventually become the current Boston Analytical located in Salem, New Hampshire. When Alpha Analytical purchased, it brought its wealth of laboratory operations experience to the team at Boston Analytical. Working with the Alpha team, Boston Analytical moved into a new 30,000 square foot facility in January 2017.

Each client is assigned to one of these highly qualified professionals who acts as their internal advocate from before a project starts to the final report and beyond. Our project managers all have experience in the pharmaceutical industry whether it was at Boston Analytical or another company.
Boston Analytical prides itself on utilizing the latest in technology with investments in LabWare LIMS™ (Laboratory Information Management System), LabWare ELN™ (Electronic Laboratory Notebook), Empower Data Chromatography Software, Qualtrax, Environmental Monitoring Programs, and BASIS (Boston Analytical Secure Information System) – our own client portal that allows clients to check the progress of their projects.
