In 1989 Fabupharm (Pty) Ltd. was established when Mr. Fanie Badenhorst (Snr.) realised there is a need for affordable quality pharmaceutical products in Namibia. From small beginnings Fabupharm has grown to a fully-fledged pharmaceutical manufacturer producing over 150 different products in nine product categories.

Fabupharm invests extensively in training employees on the manufacturing processes and equipment ensuring adequate skills transfer within the company. 

THE FUTURE

Fabupharm has achieved tremendous growth since its establishment in 1989. The company experienced growth through expanding its current operations and introducing new products to the market. Over the last three years Fabupharm has doubled its capacity. Opportunities exist to manufacture tablets such as ARVs and a broad spectrum anti-biotic. In addition, Fabupharm is now in the position to export products to other African countries.
