In 1889 Dr. Germano Giuliani, pharmacist and chemist in Milan from Arco di Trento, bought the Antica Farmacia del Lazzaretto,
the city’s first pharmacy. This is where the first formula was developed, the core of its first product, Amaro Medicinale.
In 1937, the company became a fully-fledged pharmaceutical company.
Since then, its distinctive passion for science and a natural tendency for innovation have led Giuliani to explore new areas of treatment, to respond to people’s ever-changing needs.
